Ace of Blades
Ace of Blades is an exercise in branding and creative thinking. This fictional ice hockey team functions very similarly to the well known Harlem Globetrotters, who make their sport unique by introducing an element of mischief. Magic tricks on ice disorient the opposing team and entertain younger audience members. To create this more playful aesthetic, the branding incorporates bubbly typography, magic themed elements, and a cheeky retro styled mascot to represent the team.
