Problem Statement
"Identity" is an article defining the importance of a teenager becoming individual from their parents. It focuses on the positives of this separation, and the reasons why teen independence is necessary. The editorial spread needs to express these views that oppose most other opinions on the topic.
Solution
The design for this article was intended to lean into teenage style to amplify how their independence is a good thing. The model always has some sort of spotlight on him to represent a parent's watchful eye, yet he is still expressing himself freely. This harmony between a teenager finding themself and their parent's learning to accept them is the core of the article.
